KOMBU is a new culinary concept located in Terra, the unique space beneath restaurant Beluga in Maastricht. A hidden destination where rich flavours, refined dishes and a warm, modern atmosphere come together. As we continue building our concept, we are looking for a flexible and motivated Itinerant Kitchen Worker member who thrives on gastronomy, teamwork and variety.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As Itinerant Kitchen Worker at KOMBU, you will support the kitchen team wherever needed throughout the daily operation. Together, you ensure every dish leaves the kitchen with attention to flavour, presentation and detail.
You assist with daily mise-en-place, support the team during busy services and help maintain structure, quality and calm within the kitchen. You move effortlessly with the rhythm of the service and know how to stay focused under pressure.
At KOMBU, cooking is about more than food, it is about creating a complete experience. That is why we are looking for someone with passion for the craft, a strong sense of quality and the motivation to grow alongside a new culinary concept.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Support the kitchen team during preparation and service
- Work flexibly across different sections of the kitchen
- Prepare and plate dishes according to KOMBU standards
- Maintain cleanliness, structure and hygiene within the kitchen
- Assist with mise-en-place and daily kitchen operations
- Work together to create a refined culinary experience for our guests
- Contribute to a smooth and efficient service
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

- You speak fluent Dutch or English
- Experience in hospitality or kitchens is a plus
